Topic: Paper Embroidery

When a challenge asked us to combine embroidery with parchment I started looking for a unique way to do it. The background is a beautiful printed paper I have been hoarding for years. Over this is laid a parchment with subtle yellow stripes and Then I pulled out some glittery stitching stickers.

The stitching is done with verigated thread that picks up colors from the background paper and copper brads connect the corners.

I attached it to a peach folded cardstock base and added a silver greeting to the center.
