Topic: Coloring

I love the color combination I ended up with on today's cards. I stamped the butterfly on white cardstock and colored with alcohol markers in soft blue and bright yellow. I chose these same colors for the backgrounds while adding a soft grey to the mix.

For this first one I fussy cut the butterfly with a thin border then tinted the edges with 'old paper' distress ink and a foam pad. I glued the body and antennae to the background and popped the wings up on foam.

For the second one I fussy cut the butterfly without a border and mounted it on foam tape over a matching blue triangle.

In both cases I stamped the sentiment directly on the background.
