Temari Embroidery
Topic: Paper Embroidery

Temari is generally a thread winding on balls in a criss-crossing pattern. One of our group leaders challenged us to do paper embroidery with the same concept. I adapted this from someone else's pattern, adding more holes and completing the stitching a little differently as well. 

I used verigated thread for this, working on a shaving cream background. This is attached to a folded maroon card base and a gold greeting sticker was the final touch.
