Under the Sea
Topic: Quilting

Back at it with the quilting. I finished up 9 on the same day but I am doling them out here one or two a day.

The quilt today I called Under the Sea because of the fabric choice. It uses a pattern called Broad Strokes from the book 3-Yard Quilts On The Double.


I think it looks like a giant aquarium.

Here's a better view of the focus fabric. You can see how the green and blue of the supporting fabrics are pulled directly from the feature print.


I quilted with the giant interlocking swirls because they looked like crashing waves. Stitching is in green and the backing is a marbled print that the green looks perfect on as well.
